My 8GB M1 Air was drowning in swap, so I built a menu bar app that fights back

Bought an M1 Air back in 2021 with 8GB RAM thinking it'll be enough. Now the Activity Monitor permanently shows 2-3GB of swap and I kept reading about how swap eats SSD write cycles on these machines (and the SSD is soldered, lol). On my windows machine I use
